I moved to Crofthandy in December 2011 after building a new home with my husband John & 2 boys, who are now 26 & 22. I currently work at Truro & Penwith College as the Head of Department for Hair, Beauty & Hospitality, a role that brings many challenges but also great rewards. I enjoy love the area that I live in and am passionate about its heritage & surroundings. I have attended many events in the village during my time here, which include St Day Feast, The Star Inn ale festival & Carol singing. I have also enjoyed the St Day walking group, The Welcome Club & supporting the weekly coffee morning.
As a counsellor, I feel confident that I will be able to support local events and keep them going for future generations, as well as bringing new ideas. I have always considered myself to be a loyal trustworthy and honest person & will do my upmost to support both my colleagues & the community while in post.
